Our mission is to contribute to the development and accessibility of the blockchain ecosystem
Our team of professionals and advisors were all early adopters of blockchain technology (back when it was just Bitcoin!). Throughout the years, and as the technology has evolved, we have gained considerable experience and in-depth expertise in areas like blockchain architecture, token design and engineering, Web 3, cryptocurrencies, decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), among others. Before that, our team collectively worked in the Venture Capital, Private Equity, Hedge Fund, Strategy Consulting, and Tech industries.
Token Tactics is primarily a Venture Capital firm, but our experience and expertise also allow us to advise companies on how to enter the blockchain space and help high-level executives get up to speed by bridging the knowledge gap. Regardless of whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned blockchain professional, we are here to help you navigate through, and take advantage of, the innovation and opportunities blockchain offers.

Our Team
Our team is small, mobile, and global by design. This allows us to keep our ears to the ground in key places around the globe and focus on projects and topics in which we see high potential or have a particular interest. Our network of partners and collaborators allows us to engage the right people for the right projects. In blockchain, the best professionals and most innovative minds are scattered around the world and we don't think geographic distance is a good enough excuse not to work together.
Raul HERAUD
Base: Sydney, Australia
Raul has 20 years of experience in the VC/PE space. Previously, he was Managing Principal for Mercury Ventures, a blockchain-focused advisory and investment firm, where he helped portfolio companies raise funds; design, develop, and list tokens; and grow operations. Previously, he was Australia Country Head and Head of Financial Services for Asia & Middle East for YCP Solidiance (Tokyo Stock Exchange 9257). In the past, Raul worked for Merrill Lynch’s Global PE Group, SinoLatin Capital, Bain Capital, and Bain & Co. In 2018, he completed blockchain studies at MIT. He holds an M.A. in International Studies from The Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from The Wharton School.
Daniel TRUQUE
Base: New York City, USA
Daniel co-founded Satoshi Capital, an advisory firm specialized in quantitative crypto strategies, Bitcoin mining operations, and blockchain-based payment systems (e.g., CBDC). He also led business development for Alternative Assets at Symbiont for enterprise blockchain applications, ranging from private security tokens to supply chain. Daniel has worked as a portfolio specialist at AQR Capital and Bridgewater Associates, the two largest hedge funds worldwide. He was previously Director of Research & Operations at Market Realist, worked in leveraged finance with HSBC, and was a consultant at McKinsey & Co's Risk Practice. He holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from MIT.
Rodolfo ERGUETA
Base: San Francisco Bay Area, USA
Rodolfo is an advisor to Token Tactics. He is also Senior Director at Salesforce.com’s Blockchain & Emerging Technology Product Management Group, where he leads several large-scale blockchain projects. He was also Senior Director in the Platform Product Management, and Sales & Strategy business units at Salesforce.com. Previously, Rodolfo was Strategy Director and later Senior Director at SAP ‘s Business Operations division. Post-MBA, Rodolfo was a Senior Associate at McKinsey & Company where he focused on strategy development and execution. Rodolfo also spent 5 years at Fidelity Investments. He holds an M.A. in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from The Wharton School.
Steve PRICE
Base: London, England
Steve is Head of Investor Relations and Communications for Token Tactis. He has 23 years of experience as a journalist, editor, writer, and communications advisor. He spent 10 years in Taipei where he worked for Taiwan News, Taipei Times, and KGI Securities. Later, Steve spent five years in Hong Kong, mostly at Weber Shandwick, working in the Financial Services industry with a focus on asset managers and private and custodian banks. Since 2020, Steve has been Communications Advisor to Mercury Ventures. In the past, he has also collaborated with clients such as Alibaba, Baidu, Asia Asset Management, Barron's, The Penn Wharton China Center, Sinopec Group, Cindafund Investment Management, and The Economist, among many others.
